Reroofing with slate

Removal of the asbestos cement roof sheeting and replacement with a slate roof finish, bringing the building back to its original roof finish, as well as repainting and refurbishment of external envelope, including windows and doors. New structural codes have necessitated strengthening of roof trusses. Provincial Heritage Site with Section 27 application to HWC has been undertaken. Re-roofing documentation, specifications, monitoring of the work, co-ordination with the structural engineers, and administration of the contractor has been undertaken.
