Re-roofing from asbestos cement sheeting to corrugated sheet metal, as well as repair and repointing of stonework, and refurbishment of external envelope, including windows and doors. Submission of Section 34 to HWC with re-roofing documentation, masonry and pointing specifications. Monitoring of the work to be undertaken.

Reroofing with slate
Removal of the asbestos cement roof sheeting and replacement with Spanish slate, bringing the building back to its original roof finish, as well as repainting and refurbishment of external envelope, including windows and doors. New structural codes have necessitated strengthening of roof trusses. Provincial Heritage Site with Section 27 application to HWC has been undertaken. Re-roofing documentation, specifications, monitoring of the work, co-ordination with the structural engineers, and administration of the contractor has been undertaken.
