The historic church tower at Genadendal, with its two original bells, has been leaning for several years. Structural assessments are currently underway to determine the most appropriate method of correcting and stabilizing the tower. While the lean is not considered an immediate structural concern, the chosen conservation approach may preserve this distinctive characteristic, leaving Genadendal with its own unique leaning tower.
